This unit is far superior to the items Jaguar designed in the 60’s for these engines. With advances in technology the harmonic vibrations generated within an engine are now more understood and can therefore be minimised by these dampers.
The harmonic damper is an essential part required for producing a smooth well balanced engine – one damper does not fit all!
ATI products have developed their dampers on engine dynos to match each particular application.
The ATI damper is used extensively in Historic racing.
Whenever we spec an XK engine build we always use these dampers because from experience we know how good they are.
