Triumph GT6 Mk2

Development.

This is my personal car. I fell in love with the shape before I learnt to drive and it was the first car I bought, it was in a sorry state and needed a complete restoration and that’s what I intended to do – I got a bit carried away!
This car has become part of my CV – it showcases the kind of engineering and quality that I aspire to.

Specifications.

A brief summary of its specifications:
• Triumph 2L straight six engine
• Dry sump oil system
• Bespoke cast aluminium inlet manifolds using Suzuki GSXR600 bike Throttle bodies
• 2 fuel injectors per cylinder
• Bespoke roller camshaft
• Bespoke lightweight steel flywheel
• Mazda 6 speed gearbox
• Ford Cosworth LSD

This car has become my benchmark for how a small fast road car should feel – like an old shoe!
Everything is in balance – power, brakes, handling & as you’d expect the controls are beautifully weighted.
